Jetski Won't Start? Here are some helpful tips from your freinds over at RentRToyz.Com

Jet Ski won’t start… Just clicking?!?!

Here’s a quick tutorial to get the most common problems out of the way.

1).Make sure you have a good battery..Seriously!?!Happens more than we care to admit, even a “New” battery can be bad right out of the box.

2). Simplest Fix..There might be a loose terminal bolt, connection at the battery, ground point or Solenoid.

3). Still no Action!?! Bypass the solenoid by following the positive battery cable to the solenoid. It’s located in the electrical box or where the Red cables exit from the battery. Before going to start switch that is usually a black square approximately 2 inches. If this causes engine to cycle you have a bad solenoid.

Part is about $40 and takes ten minutes to install. Craigslist and EBay usually have them available for all years / models.

Hope this Helps and Make sure to stay tuned for future helpful tips :)
